Find the number of visitors on other blogs and website traffic report – blog statistics

graph3If you are a blogger , I am sure; checking your statistics is one of the first task you do daily.It is even more interesting to know friend’s statistics such as how many visitors you friends have on their blog etc.Here are the few tools which I use for this, but be informed that these tools just give a rough estimate and it can vary to a certain extent.

Statbrain

StatBrain provided number of visits per day, Please don’t confuse with unique visitors per day. Statbrain uses Alexa values and many other online data available to give approximate value.
This tool provides us a pretty good idea about the number of visitors and it can be used as an effective tool for a initial research.

Attention meter

Attention meter provides a comparison of upto 5 websites using data from Alexa, Quantcast,CrunchBase,Compete and Technorati

Dataopedia



Dataopedia gives a single page view of data from Alexa and compete and Quantcast, It also provides the populartiy and online presence of websites by checking links on twitter , friendfeed, stumble upon etc.

Alexa

Alexa is one of the leading analytic tool owned by amazon.com. Even though this tool doesn’t provide exact values, it can be used as an investigation tool

Site value check

If you need to get a approximate value of a website based on different parameters such as inlinks, alexa rank, google page rank, traffic and many more site value check is a simple and good option.

Google Trends for Websites



Google Trends uses google analytics , google search and many other third party research services available on internet to derive the value. Google trends give a fairly  good picture about the website.

This is one of the excellent tool which provides useful information about any given website or blog
This provides data such as

  • Average number of visits per visitor
  • Total Page view
  • Unique visitors
  • Category of website
  • Outlinks
  • Keywords

    Girish, thanks for the nice tools, as you said alexa is not accurate, but its worth looking, quantcast is an another good tool to find the number of visitors on other blogs and websites.
